Notification obligation

Every person drawing a pension must immediately report in writing any of the following:

  • Any change of residential and payment address
  • A copy of the notice of departure from Switzerland if the place of residence in Switzerland is relinquished, or a copy of the notice of arrival in Switzerland if the place of residence is transferred back to Switzerland.
  • Any change which can influence the benefit entitlement, specifically: divorce, marriage, death of spouse, death of life partner or death of the children entitled to pensions; interruption to or end of children's education/training for which benefits were still granted after the age of 18.
  • Any review by the Swiss federal invalidity insurance (submit a copy of its decision).
  • Entitlements and any review of benefits from military insurance, benefits from accident insurance or benefits from Swiss and foreign social security schemes or pension institutions, pensions and daily allowances from Swiss federal OASI/invalidity insurance (please enclose copies of decisions).
  • Any earned income from persons who draw an invalidity pension. In this case, the person entitled to a pension must submit a copy of the payslip or salary statement without having to be asked to do so.
